Travel RN - Telemetry

Overview

• Location: Manchester, New Hampshire
• Employment type: Travel

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New Hampshire
• Telemetry (2 years of experience)
• Telemetry experience within the last year
• ACLS
• BLS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Unit Details

• 23 beds
• Telemetry monitoring is used on the unit
• Floating is within alike areas
• Every other weekend required

Patient Population

• Cardiac medical patients, including stable MI, heart failure, new onset Afib, stable dysrhythmias, and procedural cardiac patients
• Additional patients may include ICU transfers, neuro patients with CVA, and pulmonary patients requiring Bipap, Hi-flow, or Salter

Common Procedures / Skills

• Cardiac caths without intervention
• Pacers, ablations, cardioversions, and EP studies
• Cardiac drips, including amiodarone, diltiazem, dopamine, dobutamine, milrinone, Lasix, and insulin

Preferred Background

• Cardiac telemetry skill set
• Strong medical-surgical background with telemetry

Work Environment

• Hospital scrubs required
