Description
Med/Surg RN
Location
- Rushville, Illinois

Schedule
- 3×12-hour night shifts
- Rotating weekends and holidays
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Illinois
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- 1 year of Med Surg / Telemetry experience
- ACLS
- Experience in Charge roles
Preferred Qualifications
- ACLS within 6 months if not already held
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient-centered care in the Emergency Department or Med/Surg
- Triage and prioritize patients
- Perform assessments and reassessments
- Administer medications and manage IVs and central lines
- Monitor labs, diagnostics, and clinical indicators
- Communicate with providers and interdisciplinary team members
- Document care accurately
- Educate and support patients and families
- Serve as charge nurse when assigned
- Promote safety, teamwork, and quality outcomes
