RRT

Overview

  • Specialty: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics
  • Location: Akron, Ohio
  • Employment type: Travel/Contract
  • Shift: Night, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
  • Hours per week: 36

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Ohio
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (2 years of experience)
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association

Scheduling / Work Expectations

  • Weekends as needed
  • May float as needed

Application / Compliance Requirements

  • All work history must be included in the application
  • Two recent satisfactory pre-employment references
  • 3 years of prior work history, including at least 2 years of clinical practice in an acute care setting and in a similar area to the assignment
  • Unit-specific skills checklist
  • Unit-specific competency exam within 12 months of start
  • Transcript or diploma
  • Government-issued photo ID
  • Criminal background check
  • FBI and BCI fingerprinting within 12 months of start
  • Negative TB screening or chest X-ray
  • Pre-employment physical within 1 year of start
  • Fit mask testing within 12 months of start
  • Negative 10-panel drug screen within 12 months of start
  • Flu vaccine or approved medical/religious exemption during flu season
  • Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella immunity documentation
  • HIPAA acknowledgement
  • I-9/E-Verify attestation
  • Online training modules before start

  • Locals accepted at the same rate
  • Scheduling requests and time-off requests must be communicated during submission and interview
