Description
ICU RN Travel Contract
Location
- Beaufort, South Carolina
Schedule
- Night shift
- 4x12 hours
- 48 hours per week
- Every Wednesday orientation
- Every other weekend required
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Unit Details
- Stepdown role that frequently floats to ICU and MedSurg
- Floating is required across Stepdown, ICU, and MedSurg
- 21 beds
- Patient ratios:
- Stepdown: 1:4-5
- ICU: 1:2
- MedSurg: 1:5-6
Required Qualifications
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Valid RN license in South Carolina
- Critical Care Float (2 years of experience)
- Critical Care Float experience within the last year
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience
- Med Surg experience
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS
Clinical Experience / Patient Population
- Non-titrating drips
- Amiodarone, NTG, Cardizem, Lopressor, and Cardene
- Vascular cases including fem-pop and CEA
- NSTEMI
- Post-cardiac cath with intervention
- CIWA receiving IVP Ativan
- Peritoneal dialysis
- Stable BiPAP
- Heated high flow under 80%
- Home ventilators
- Wound care
- Nebulizers
- Hemodialysis in the dialysis department
Additional Notes
- Travel experience is preferred
- Scrubs: royal blue and white
- EMR: Meditech
