Echo Tech

Overview

• Location: Fort Pierce, Florida
• Employment type: Travel
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Hours per week: 36

Schedule

• Day shift and evening coverage
• No overnight shifts
• Weekend coverage required
• Call required: 3–7 nights per month

Required Qualifications

• Echo Technologist with 1 year of experience
• Echo Technologist experience within the last year
• BLS
• RCS
• Echo Tech Certification
• Experience working with Adolescent or Adult or Geriatric or Infant or Neonate patients

Key Responsibilities

• Perform complete 2D echocardiograms
• Take emergency stat echo call
• Complete studies in less than 45 minutes per patient

Work Environment

• Small unit with 2 beds and 7 staff
• Fast-paced, fluid environment
• Ability to work independently is important

Equipment and Documentation

• GE equipment
• Meditech Expanse documentation system

Dress Code

• Ciel blue scrubs
