Registered Nurse
Location
- Galesburg, Illinois
Contract

- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour shifts
Required Qualifications
- Active Illinois RN license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS (AHA)
Assignment Details
- Tele Intermediate unit
- 26 beds
- Patient ratio: 1:4 or 1:5
- Travelers are expected to float
- Every other weekend required
- Every other holiday required
- No call requirement
Clinical Environment
- Central telemetry monitoring
- Common patient types include CHF, COVID pneumonia, Afib with RVR, tachy/brady syndrome, and syncope
- No vents; Bipap, Cpap, and HF/Vapotherm used
- RT available 24/7
- Pharmacy support available 24/7
- Nursing does not mix medications
Orientation
- 12 hours of non-billable orientation
- 1 shift of hospital orientation
- 2 shifts of unit orientation, including one day shift and one night shift
Additional Notes
- Local placements accepted within a 50-mile radius
- Drug screen required
- Own scrubs may be worn; scrub color is not specified
