Cath Lab Tech

Overview

• Location: Salisbury, North Carolina
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
• Shift: Day, 5x8 hours
• Hours: 40 per week
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Schedule & Assignment Details

• Start directly on the unit on Mondays until training is completed.
• Unit orientation is 40 hours.
• Float requirement: none.
• Weekend requirement: every third weekend.
• Call is required, with a minimum of 7 call days per month.
• The role supports urgent and emergent cardiology and interventional radiology procedures.
• The unit is primarily interventional radiology, with additional cardiology, vascular, and electrophysiology procedures.
• Scrubs are provided.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in North Carolina
• Cath Lab Technologist (2 years of experience)
• Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
• ACLS
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ARRT or RCIS
• Interventional Radiology Technologist experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to perform EKG lead placement
• ARRT Advanced Cert
• RCES
• RCIS with med experience

• Geriatrics

Additional Notes

• RTO after booking is not allowed.
• Holiday RTO is not allowed.
• Locals are accepted.
• Traveler experience is not required.
• Medication administration is performed by RN only.
