Description

Interventional Radiology RN

Overview

Travel/contract role in Winston-Salem, North Carolina
Day shift: 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM, Monday through Friday
40 hours per week
Contract length: 26 weeks
Unit accepts first-time travelers
Local candidates are accepted

Schedule and Call

Weekends are required based on the call rotation
Call is required, including being able to arrive at the hospital within 30 minutes
RTO after booking is not allowed

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
Interventional Radiology experience within the last year
2 years of Interventional Radiology experience
Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIHSS

Preferred Qualifications

PALS
Circulate experience
Ventilator experience

Unit Details

Interventional radiology setting with pre- and post-procedure coverage as needed
Typical workload is 16 cases per day across three IR rooms
No float requirement
Scrubs are provided

Orientation

8-hour unit orientation
Hospital orientation occurs during the first week
Candidate must be available for classes each day during orientation
