Description
Tele Float RN
Overview
- Travel/contract RN position in Saint Paul, Minnesota
- Acute care teaching hospital with 317 staffed beds
- 3x12 shifts; days or nights
- Every other weekend required
- Floating within scope is required
- First-time travelers accepted
- Local candidates are not accepted; 100-mile radius restriction applies
- Pending license accepted
- Contract length: 12 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Minnesota
- Telemetry (2 years of experience)
- Telemetry experience within the last year
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Telehealth experience
- Experience with Epic
Additional Notes
- Telemetry and med/surg experience are both relevant to this role
- No on-call
- Block scheduling is not available
- RTO should ideally be no more than 5 days
Compliance / Pre-Start Requirements
- Criminal background check
- EPLS/GSA/SAM check
- HHS/OIG check
- Fingerprinting / Minnesota DHS NetStudy clearance
- Physical exam within 12 months before start
- Tdap
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray
- Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B documentation
- Drug screening
- Seasonal flu vaccination/documentation
- Respiratory safety clearance
- 2 references
- Annual skills checklist
