Description
Speech-Language Pathologist
Location: Saint Joseph, Missouri
Setting: Long-term care / skilled nursing and post-acute rehabilitation
Schedule: Days, 8 hours per day
Contract length: 13 weeks
Employment type: Temp
Required Qualifications
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in Missouri
- Speech Language Pathologist (1 year of experience)
- Speech Language Pathologist experience within the last year
- CCC
- Experience in a(n) Long Term Care setting
- Experience in a(n) Rehabilitation setting
- Driver's License
Role Overview
- Develops treatment plans to improve swallowing, cognitive, and communication abilities and reduce aspiration
- Leads, guides, and directs speech-language pathology and audiology services in the facility
- Works with residents in both short-term rehab and long-term care
