Description
Cytotechnology Technologist
Location: Glens Falls, New York
Employment Type: Temp
Shift: Days
Overview
This role involves screening gynecologic and non-gynecologic cytological specimens for evidence of cancer or other pathological conditions, performing quality control and quality assurance procedures, and conducting rapid on-site evaluation using tele-pathology for fine needle aspirations.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Cytotechnologist license in New York
- Cytotechnologist (5 years of experience)
- Cytotechnologist experience within the last year
- ASCP
- Experience with EBUS procedures
- Experience with EUS procedures
- Experience with Thyroid FNA procedures
- Experience with Epic
