Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
BLS
PALS
NIHSS
CPI
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Trauma experience
Cardiac experience

Preferred Qualifications

ICU experience
Cardiac experience
TNCC

Unit Details

12-bed unit
Typical patient ratio: 4-6
RN and ED tech coverage 24/7
Approximate annual volume: 14,000
Average acuity: 3

Schedule

3 x 12-hour shifts
6-8 weekend shifts per schedule

Bedside cardioversion
Procedural sedation
Splinting
Assisting with intubation

Work Environment

Community emergency department with MD and mid-level support 24/7
