Registered Respiratory Therapist
Job Overview
- Specialty: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics
- Location: Seattle, Washington
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Night, 4x12 hours, 19:00–07:30
- Hours per week: 48
- Floating: Required to all inpatient and acute care areas
- On call: Not required
- Weekend: Yes
Role Summary
- Pediatric RRT role supporting neonates, infants, pediatrics, and adolescents
- This is not an ICU-only role
- Candidate must be willing to work in ICUs and float to acute/inpatient areas as needed
Required Qualifications
- Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Washington
- Respiratory Therapist (1 year of experience)
- Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- NBRC-RRT
- Experience working with Adolescent or Infant or Neonate or Pediatric patients
- PICU or NICU experience
- Intensive Care Experience
- Airways Management
- Vent Management

- Airway management

- Pulmonary toileting

Scheduling Notes
- Only 3 shifts of requested time off can be approved
- Schedule runs Monday through Sunday
- Candidates without an active Washington license should be set 6–8 weeks out
- For ASAP start, Washington license must already be in hand; for later start, the license application must be submitted as soon as possible
