Description
RN - ICU
Location
- Aurora, Colorado
Contract
- 13 weeks
- Travel assignment
- 36 hours per week
- Night shift
Unit Overview
- Intensive care unit with 38 beds
- Mixed ICU caring for medical, surgical, cardiac, and neurosurgery patients
- Level II trauma center
- Patient ratio: 2:1 or 1:1 depending on acuity
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Colorado
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior Meditech experience
- CVICU/CTICU experience
Common Procedures / Skills
- Bedside bronchoscopy
- GI scopes
- Chest tube insertion
- Arterial and central line insertions
- Airway care
- Frequent drip titrations
