RN - ICU

Unit Overview

Intensive care unit with 38 beds
Mixed ICU caring for medical, surgical, cardiac, and neurosurgery patients
Level II trauma center
Patient ratio: 2:1 or 1:1 depending on acuity

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Colorado
ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
BLS
ACLS
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

Prior Meditech experience
CVICU/CTICU experience

Common Procedures / Skills

Bedside bronchoscopy
GI scopes
Chest tube insertion
Arterial and central line insertions
Airway care
Frequent drip titrations
