Endoscopy Technician

Overview

• Location: Salem, Massachusetts
• Employment type: Long-term assignment
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:15 AM to 3:45 PM, with one rotating day of 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Shift notes: Rotating shifts may be required; the department is open 6:30 AM to 5:30 PM
• Setting: Endoscopy/GI procedure unit with 8 procedural rooms, holding and recovery areas, and PACU bays
• Patient volume: 60–70 procedures per day
• Floating: Not required

Required Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as an Endoscopy Technician
• Endoscopy Technician experience within the last year
• BLS issued by the American Heart Association
• Experience with Olympus scope set-up, handling, and reprocessing
• License/certification verification required for onboarding

Preferred Qualifications

• SGNA or CBSPD certification preferred

Additional Onboarding Requirements

• Resume including the past 7 years of work experience
• 2 references within the past 4 years, including at least 1 supervisor or above in the skill set
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission
• Background checks and health screening documentation required for onboarding, including TB screening, MMR, fit test, respirator medical clearance attestation, health statement, education verification, SSN trace, sex offender check, and exclusion checks
