Pharmacist Inpatient
Job Overview
- Specialty: Pharmacy
- Location: Chesapeake, Virginia
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Schedule: 5x8 rotating shifts, weekdays with some weekends; every 3rd weekend. Overnight rotation follows 7 nights on / 7 nights off.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Pharmacist license in Virginia
- Pharmacist (1 year of experience)
- Pharmacist experience within the last year
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy
- Experience in an inpatient setting
- IV experience
- Pain controlled analgesia experience
- Antibiotics experience
- Experience with Epic
Preferred Experience
- Chemo experience
- Anticoagulants experience
- Pharmacokinetic dosing experience
- Renal dosing experience
Work Attire
- Professional dress or hunter green scrubs
- Scrubs are not provided
Schedule Details
- Day shift options: 0630–1500, 0730–1600, 0900–1730, 1000–1830
- Evening shift options: 1300–2130, 1430–2300
- Overnight shift options: 1930–0730, 2030–0730
