Pharmacist Inpatient

Job Overview

Specialty: Pharmacy
Location: Chesapeake, Virginia
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Contract length: 13 weeks
Schedule: 5x8 rotating shifts, weekdays with some weekends; every 3rd weekend. Overnight rotation follows 7 nights on / 7 nights off.

Required Qualifications

Valid Pharmacist license in Virginia
Pharmacist (1 year of experience)
Pharmacist experience within the last year
Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy
Experience in an inpatient setting
IV experience
Pain controlled analgesia experience
Antibiotics experience
Experience with Epic

Preferred Experience

Chemo experience
Anticoagulants experience
Pharmacokinetic dosing experience
Renal dosing experience

Work Attire

Professional dress or hunter green scrubs
Scrubs are not provided

Schedule Details

Day shift options: 0630–1500, 0730–1600, 0900–1730, 1000–1830
Evening shift options: 1300–2130, 1430–2300
Overnight shift options: 1930–0730, 2030–0730
