Description

Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

Overview

  • Location: New Brunswick, New Jersey
  • Employment type: Travel/Contract
  • Shift: Night, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
  • Hours per week: 36
  • Contract length: 13 weeks
  • Patient ratio: 1:1–2
  • First-time travelers accepted: Yes
  • Local candidates accepted: Yes

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in New Jersey
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • 2 years of Regional Perinatal Center experience
  • Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
  • Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
  • BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
  • NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure issued by American Heart Association
  • EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring
  • Antepartum experience
  • Post Partum experience

Schedule Requirements

  • Every other weekend required
  • Holidays required as needed
  • Time off requests must be submitted with the application and approved before offer

Unit Details

  • High-acuity, diverse Labor & Delivery unit
  • Floating may include MotherBaby and Antepartum, which share a floor

  • Scrubs are provided
