EP Tech Travel Assignment
Overview
- Specialty: EP Tech
- Location: Austin, Texas
- Employment type: Travel
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- On-call: Required
- Hours per week: 36
Required Qualifications
- Electrophysiology Technician (1 year of experience)
- Electrophysiology Technician experience within the last year
- BLS
- ARRT or RCES
Preferred Experience
- 2+ years of scrubbing experience
- Experience monitoring with Claris
Unit Details
- EP lab with 1 lab
- Typical staffing is 3 to 4 staff per procedure, plus anesthesia
- Patient ratio is 1:1
- Equipment used includes Philips
Common Procedures
- Standard implant procedures
- EP ablation cases except VT
- Watchman procedures
Work Environment
- Very busy lab with a strong sense of urgency
- Scrubs are provided by the hospital
