Job Overview

Location: Longview, Texas
Employment type: Travel
Schedule: Nights, 8:00 PM–8:00 AM
Shift length: 3 days per week, 12 hours per shift
Weekend requirement: Yes, 6 days per 6-week schedule period
Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
PALS issued by American Heart Association
TNCC
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Onboarding / Orientation

Newly hired experienced RNs must attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire
New hires are precepted by a trained staff member and must complete organizational entry competency validation and an Emergency Department-specific competency validation
Newly licensed RNs may participate in a residency program or other specific orientation
Completion of annual competency verification is required
