Description
CVOR RN
Overview
- Travel/contract role in Indianapolis, Indiana
- Day shift: 5x8 hours, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Circulating position; scrubbing not required
- Float to other OR specialties is required
- Call is required, approximately 100 hours per 6 weeks, including 1 call weekend every 6 weeks
- First-time travelers are accepted if they have Level I Trauma experience
- Local candidates are accepted
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Indiana
- CVOR (2 years of experience)
- CVOR experience within the last year
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
Clinical Experience / Case Mix
- Experience with heart and lung transplants, aortic dissections, and ECMO
- Level I Trauma experience is expected for first-time travelers
Schedule Expectations
- Must work 2 of 3 major holidays
Additional Notes
- Pending license is accepted if the required license is in hand before start
- Interview availability of 2–3 days should be provided with submission
