CVICU Registered Nurse

Job Overview

Location: Largo, Maryland
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Day shift, 3x12 hours, 7:30 AM–8:00 PM
Contract length: 13 weeks
Start date: 8/24/2026

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Maryland
CVICU (2 years of experience)
CVICU experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Schedule Expectations

Every other weekend required
Holidays required as scheduled
Floating required within the specialty, sister units, and lower acuity as needed

Clinical Focus

Cardiac surgery cases including CABG and valve procedures
Cardiac conditions including STEMI, NSTEMI, atrial fibrillation with RVR, and cardiogenic shock
Vascular cases including peripheral bypasses and EVAR
Thoracic cases including VATS
