Overview

• Job type: Travel
• Location: Portsmouth, New Hampshire
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Hours per week: 36
• Shift pattern: Day shift with weekend rotation; weekday call coverage and 24-hour weekend call coverage

Required Qualifications

• Endoscopy Technician experience with 2 years of experience
• Endoscopy Technician experience within the last year
• BLS
• CFER

Role Details

• Work is in an endoscopy unit
• Must be familiar with endoscope reprocessing, leak testing, and Olympus endoscopes
• Knowledge of colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, bronchoscopy, and EUS is needed
• Procedures performed include EGD, colonoscopies, ERCP, bronchoscopies, Bravo placements, HET, TIF, EBUS, and EUS

Work Environment

• 9 pre/post beds and 4 procedure rooms
• Typical patient ratios: 1:1 for procedures; 1–3 for pre/post care
• Team includes 3 full-time endoscopy techs and no unit secretary
• May float to the main OR Sterile Processing Department if volume is light

• Hospital scrubs are provided
• Closed-toe shoes are required
