Registered Nurse — Post-Op

Location: New Lenox, Illinois

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Illinois
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Med Surg / Telemetry (4 years of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
Stepdown experience
PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience
Experience working with Adult patients
Experience working with Geriatric patients
BLS issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS
ACLS issued by American Heart Association

Role Overview

Develops, coordinates, and delivers care to telemetry patients
Maintains standards of professional nursing
Supervises CNA/SNA or other health care workers as assigned

Clinical Setting

Adult and geriatric patient population
Trauma Level II
RN-to-patient ratio: 1:6 or 7
Night shift ratio: 1:5–7

Additional Details

Pewter grey scrubs required; traveler must provide them

Certified monitor techs support remote telemetry monitoring
