Job Overview

• Location: Weston, Florida
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Shift: Day, 3x12 hours, 11:00–23:30
• Weekly hours: 36
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Start date: Next applicable orientation date, about 3–4 weeks out
• Setting: Short-term acute care, teaching facility

Role Details

• CVOR role with cardiac call
• May work other cases when no cardiac cases are available
• Floating within scope is required, including to sister facilities
• First-time travelers are accepted

Required Qualifications

• CVOR Technologist with 1.5 years of experience
• CVOR Technologist experience within the last year
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Vascular experience

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of experience preferred
• 3+ years of experience strongly preferred
• NBSTSA and/or NCCT certification preferred

Schedule / Call

• Weekend and on-call expectations will be discussed during interview
• Cardiac call is required
• Call volume varies and may range from about 6 to 10 shifts per month

Compliance / Onboarding Notes

• All requested time off must be submitted upfront
• Online onboarding modules must be completed before start
• Government-issued photo ID required
• Proof of E-Verify or attestation required
• 7-year criminal background check required
• Federal exclusion checks required within 30 days of start
• Florida AHCA Level II fingerprint clearance required before start
• Physical exam required within 6 months of start
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray required within 1 year of start
• Seasonal influenza vaccination or approved exemption required
• COVID vaccination or approved exemption required
• Two professional references required
• Employment application required
• Skills checklist required for the applicable unit
