Role Summary
- Perform diagnostic tests, including pulmonary function tests, arterial blood gas analysis, and sleep studies.
- Administer and monitor respiratory therapy such as oxygen therapy, mechanical ventilation, and inhalation therapy.
- Educate patients and families on disease management, breathing techniques, and respiratory equipment use.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and sleep technologists on patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Stay current with developments in respiratory therapy and improve care processes.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Oklahoma
- Respiratory Therapist (3 years of experience)
- Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
- BLS
