Respiratory Therapist, NICU

Job Overview

Location: Richland, Washington
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Night, 3x12 hours
Hours per Week: 36
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Key Job Details

Floating between units is required.
Weekends are required every other week.
On-call is not required.
Block scheduling is not required.
Patient ratios depend on hospital acuity.
The role requires working independently in a Level 3 NICU and having the skill and experience to work in a Level 2 regional trauma center.
Staff are considered variable assignment resources for the unit, including full-time employees.
Shift assignment is typically confirmed 1 to 2 weeks in advance.

Required Qualifications

Certified Respiratory Therapy - NICU (1 year of experience)
Certified Respiratory Therapy - NICU experience within the last year
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
Ability to work independently within a Level 3 NICU
Ability to work in a Level 2 regional trauma center

Required Certifications

BLS
ACLS
PALS
NRP
