Description

Respiratory Therapist, NICU

Job Overview

Location: Richland, Washington
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Night or day, 3x12-hour schedule
Hours per week: 36
Contract length: 13 weeks
Floating: May float between units/departments
Weekends: Every other weekend
On-call: Not required
Block scheduling: Not required
48 hours: Not approved

Required Qualifications

Washington respiratory therapist license in hand
Certified Respiratory Therapy - NICU (1 year of experience)
Certified Respiratory Therapy - NICU experience within the last year
Ability to work independently in a Level 3 NICU
Skill and experience to work in a Level 2 regional trauma center

Required Certifications

BLS
ACLS
PALS
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure

Additional Notes

Reduced non-billable orientation
First-time travelers are accepted
Assignment shift is typically confirmed 1–2 weeks in advance
Staffing needs may vary based on hospital acuity
