Job Overview

• Guaranteed hours: 36 per week

Schedule

• Weekend requirement: Every third weekend
• Holiday requirement: Every other holiday
• Orientation: Bi-weekly orientation

Required Qualifications

• Current active compact RN license
• AHA BLS
• AHA ACLS
• NIHSS
• 2 years of RN experience
• 1 year of stepdown/PCU experience
• 1 travel assignment
• Recent EPIC experience
• Tele interpretation skills
• Ability to initiate and titrate insulin, heparin, and cardiac drips

Clinical Experience

• Stepdown/PCU patient population
• Experience with drips, including insulin, heparin, and cardiac drips
• Experience with sepsis, CHF, COPD, DKA, cirrhosis, dementia, and surgical cases including urology, abdominal, and ortho

Work Setting

• First to float within skillset
• Possible cross-campus float with short notice
• Teaching hospital environment with possible precepting of students and new hires

Additional Notes

• No local candidates within a 40-mile radius
• Navy blue scrubs required
• COVID-19 vaccine not required, subject to change
