Labor and Delivery RN
Job Overview
- Specialty: Registered Nurse
- Location: Baton Rouge, Louisiana
- Employment Type: Travel/Contract
- Shift: Night shift, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Weekly Hours: 36
- Contract Length: 8 weeks
Role Details
- Primary assignment is Labor & Delivery
- Work mix is 80% Labor & Delivery and 20% Mother/Baby/Postpartum
- Postpartum experience required
- Travel experience required
- No locals
- Weekend rotation/coverage will be discussed during interview
- Candidate should have flexibility if needed
- Minimal time off requested
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Louisiana
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- Labor and Delivery (1 year of experience)
- One completed travel assignment
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Post Partum experience
Compliance / Pre-Start Requirements
- Copy of photo ID
- Background check
- EPLS/GSA/SAM check
- HHS/OIG check
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Annual respirator fit testing
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
- 12-panel drug screen within 90 days prior to start
- System access and confidentiality agreement signed before start
