Radiation Therapist

Location

Hilo, Hawaii

Contract

20 weeks

Schedule

Varied shifts
May include weekends and holidays

Required Qualifications

Valid Radiation Therapist license in Hawaii
Radiation Therapist (2 years of experience)
Radiation Therapist experience within the last year
ARRT (T)
BLS
2 years of progressively responsible imaging technologist/specialist experience demonstrating thorough knowledge of imaging procedures and/or techniques

Clinical Details

Radiation therapy treatments, simulations, treatment planning, and fabrication of treatment aides
Treatment modalities include 3D, IMRT, SBRT, and electrons
Must be able to treat 25–30 patients per day
Must be proficient on a Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator and ARIA EMR

Additional Notes

Candidates without an active Hawaii license must apply upon acceptance of offer
Must arrive the Thursday before start for an employee health appointment on Friday
