MRI Tech

Job Overview

Location: Fridley, Minnesota
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM
Hours: 40 per week
Contract length: 13 weeks
Setting: Acute care hospital
Unit details: 1 room; average daily caseload is 12 per tech

Required Qualifications

MRI Technologist with 1 year of experience
MRI Technologist experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
ARRT (R)
Experience in an outpatient setting
Experience in an inpatient setting
IV starts experience
1.5 Siemens Avanto scanner experience

Schedule & Coverage

Blocked Monday–Friday schedule
Occasional weekends as needed
On-call every Wednesday from 11:00 PM–6:30 AM and every 3rd weekend
Floating required within scope as needed, including between two campuses

Additional Notes

First-time travelers are not accepted
Local candidates are accepted
Requested time off should ideally be no more than 5 days
Epic charting is used
Free parking is available in unrestricted spaces
Teaching hospital
Level 4 trauma center
