Travel/Contract Registered Nurse — LTAC
Overview
- Location: Olympia, Washington
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Start date: ASAP
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Day, 3x12 hours
- Weekly hours: 36
- First-time travelers accepted: Yes
- Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
- Floating: Required between like units within skill set
- Local candidates: Not accepted if permanent residence is within 50 miles of the facility
- On-call: Not required
- Block scheduling: Not available
- RTO preference: Keep under 7 days
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- Long Term Acute Care (1 year of experience)
- Long Term Acute Care experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Unit Details
- Long length of stay / acute med-surg setting
- Unit includes both dementia/autistic and acute patients
- Patient mix includes surgical overnight stays, procedural observation, medical observation, some medical inpatient, and long length of stay patients
