Description
Emergency Department RN
Job Overview
- Contract role in Illinois
- Mid-shift: 11:00am–11:30pm
- Rotating weekends
- 36 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect patient care in the Emergency Department
- Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust nursing care processes as needed
- Coordinate with specialists and ancillary departments to support patient care and flow through the ER
- Communicate with ED physicians about changes in patient status, symptoms, and diagnostic results
- Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Illinois
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
Preferred Qualifications
- ENPC
- TNCC
- TNS
