General Imaging Contract Role
Location
- Elgin, IL
Job details
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Employment type: Contractor
- Shift: 8-hour evening shift
- Hours per week: 40
Required qualifications
- Valid Radiology Technologist license in Illinois
- Radiology Technologist (2 years of experience)
- Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS
- ARRT
- C-arm experience
- Trauma experience
Work setting and patient population
- Level II trauma center
- Magnet designation
- Primary Stroke Center
- 255 beds
- Serves neonate to geriatric patients, including inpatient, outpatient, ED, and OR
- Approximate pediatric volume: 15% (peds experience preferred)
Schedule and assignment notes
- First-time travelers accepted
- Floating is only within the facility
- Orientation up to 40 hours, based on comfort level
- Weekend rotation: 2 weekends per month
- Time off requires manager approval
- No on-call
- Holiday coverage may be required
Equipment and systems
- EPIC
- Shimadzu portables
- Siemens and GE scanners and C-arms

- Scrubs for procedural areas are provided by the facility
