OT Outpatient

Job Overview

  • Specialty: Therapy/Rehabilitation
  • Location: Kalamazoo, Michigan
  • Employment type: Travel/Contract
  • Contract length: 13 weeks
  • Setting: Hospital-based outpatient rehabilitation clinic
  • Patient population: Adults required; adolescents preferred
  • Daily patient load: 10–11

Schedule

  • Shift: Day, 4x8 hours
  • Hours: 7:30 AM–5:00 PM
  • Call: No
  • Weekend: No
  • Float: Only if low patient census requires covering other sites

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license in Michigan
  • Occupational Therapist (1 year of experience)
  • Occupational Therapist experience within the last year
  • One completed travel assignment
  • BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
  • Lymphedema experience
  • Manual Therapy experience
  • Hand Therapy experience
  • Experience with Epic

Additional Notes

  • Patient diagnoses include lymphedema, cognitive evaluation/treatment, and musculoskeletal and neurological conditions
