Surgical Technologist
Job details
- Location: Vail, Colorado

Role summary
- Assists during surgical procedures by maintaining a sterile surgical field and providing instrumentation to the surgical team.
- Works under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
- Supports patient safety, room turnover, instrument preparation, and sterile processing tasks.
Required qualifications
- Valid Surgical Technologist license in Colorado
- Surgical Technologist (1 year of experience)
- Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- CST or NBSTSA
Key clinical expectations
- Working knowledge of sterile and aseptic technique and AORN standards
- Competency or working toward competency with Tier 1 surgical cases
- Ability to maintain a safe operating room environment and monitor the sterile field
- Participation in time-out, briefings, and debriefings
- Ability to work promptly, communicate clearly, and function under stress and deadlines
