Description

Home Health RN

Overview

Travel/contract role in home health
Location: Bedford, New Hampshire
Day shift, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
40 hours per week
Contract length: 13 weeks

Role Summary

Provides and coordinates home nursing care according to physician orders, agency policies, and the nursing process
Directly supervises and evaluates home health aides and licensed practical/vocational nurses
Typical caseload is 5–8 patients per day

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New Hampshire
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Home Health experience within the last year
1 year of Home Health experience
Hospice experience
One completed travel assignment
Experience in a Home Health setting
Experience in supervisory roles
Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Driver's License
Must have reliable transportation
Must carry agency-required liability insurance
Must be willing to travel up to 75 miles from the home clinic
Experience with Homecare Homebase
Experience with OASIS

Work Setting

Home visits and periodic office meetings
Territory mileage radius applies
Scrubs required

Charting

Must be proficient with HomeCare HomeBase and have used it within the last 6 months
OASIS proficiency is required for RNs

Additional Notes

Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
Weekend and on-call expectations vary by location and should be confirmed during interview
No guaranteed hours
