Location: Lowell, Massachusetts

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Massachusetts
• Physical Therapist experience: 1 year
• Physical Therapist experience within the last year
• Experience in a Long Term Care setting

Role Overview

• Screens, evaluates, and rehabilitates patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care needs
• Develops and adjusts plans of care using standardized assessments and evidence-based practice
• Provides treatment interventions such as manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, assistive devices, and wound care
• Documents patient progress, treatment minutes, discharge summaries, and other required clinical information
• Communicates with supervisors, team members, patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers
• Participates in required meetings, trainings, in-services, and conferences
• May supervise physical therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides, and/or students

• Follows regulatory and clinical practice standards
• Adheres to APTA and state practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics
