Emergency Department RN

Job Overview

Travel RN position in Pasadena, Texas
36 hours per week
13-week contract
Alternate weekends required

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS
PALS
TNCC
CPI
ENPC
Extensive experience with STEMI
Extensive experience with Sepsis
Trauma experience
Stroke experience

Preferred

Adult and pediatric emergency department experience
NRP
STABLE

Unit Details

30-bed emergency department
Typical patient ratio is up to 1:5, depending on acuity
Common procedures include thoracotomy, arterial lines, and massive transfusion protocol
Floating may include two free-standing emergency departments

Work Environment

Uses Meditech, with a planned transition to Expanse on 8/13/26
Royal blue scrubs required
