RN - Med Surg
Job Overview

Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- BLS
- ACLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred
- Experience with Meditech
Unit Notes
- Floating as needed
- Common unit tasks include general med-surg care, IV initiation, NG tube care, Foley care, dressing changes, and ADLs
Work Expectations
- Must be competent in patient experience, AIDET, bedside reporting, hourly rounding, and service recovery
Dress Code
- Navy blue scrubs with Med City embroidery; proof of purchase required
- No artificial nails, gel, or similar enhancements
- Hair must be neat and clean; shoulder-length or longer hair must be tied back when working in the lab
- Visible piercings other than ears are not allowed
- Tattoos should be covered whenever possible
