Description

Ultrasound Tech - General

Overview

Location: Seattle, Washington
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Contract length: 18 weeks
Shift: Day/Eve
Schedule options: 4x10s or 5x8s
Weekend coverage may be required
May need to work up to two weeks of night shifts
Holiday availability is required if the unit needs coverage
Floating may include the ER, portables, OR, and ICU

Required Qualifications

Ultrasound Technologist (0.5 years of experience)
Ultrasound Technologist experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
RDMS-AB
Experience working with Pediatric patients
Experience working with Neonate patients
Experience in a(n) Inpatient setting
Vascular procedure experience

Preferred Qualifications

Outpatient experience
Level I Trauma experience
Teaching hospital experience
Children’s hospital experience
EPIC familiarity
Rad Net familiarity
RDMS-peds certification
RVT certification

Additional Notes

The unit provides general pediatric ultrasound and vascular lab services
Common case types include DVTs, post-PICC line studies, IJs, peripheral vascular studies, ED appendicitis and testicular cases, ICU portables, and transplant-related imaging
