MS/Tele Float RN

Contract Length

13 weeks

Schedule

• Night shift
• 36 hours per week
• 12-hour shifts
• Every other weekend required

Unit Overview

• ED holding support position in the float pool
• Adult medical/surgical holding patients in the Emergency Department while awaiting inpatient beds
• May include PCU-level patients
• Floating may include ED and MedSurg areas as needed

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in North Carolina
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Telemetry experience with 2 years of experience
• Telemetry experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ED - Emergency Department experience
• Float experience
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start

• Wound care/wound vac

Additional Notes

• RTO after booking is not allowed
• RTO limit is 7 days maximum
• Mixed high-acuity unit
• Candidates will be interviewed
