ICU Registered Nurse

Job Overview

Location: Battle Creek, Michigan
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Night, 3x12 hours
Hours per week: 36
Contract length: 26 weeks
Start preference: Preference should be noted in the submission
Holidays: Required
Time off: No requested time off in the first 2 weeks of the assignment
Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
Floating: May float to other ICU and Med Surg units as needed
First-time travelers: Accepted

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Michigan
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ICU - Intensive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
Med Surg experience
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS

Clinical Setting

Mixed ICU and PCU patient population
Ventilated patients may be assigned at a 2:1 ratio
High-acuity patients such as cooling, CRRT, or similar cases may be assigned 1:1
Med Surg floating assignments may involve ratios of approximately 1:5 to 1:7
