Required Qualifications

Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in Missouri
Speech Language Pathologist (1 year of experience)
Speech Language Pathologist experience within the last year
CCC
Experience in a(n) Long Term Care setting

Job Responsibilities

Screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders
Develop and adjust plans of care based on patient progress and outcomes
Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers
Communicate with the supervisor and other health team members about patient progress, barriers, and treatment plans
Complete discharge summaries and required documentation
Record treatment minutes accurately
Participate in required meetings, trainings, in-services, and conferences
Obtain necessary DME or supplies as needed
Supervise and support CFY or student speech-language pathologists
Follow ASHA and state practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics
