Respiratory Therapist

Location

• Marshfield, Wisconsin

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Schedule

• 3 x 12-hour shifts
• Day shift: 6:30 AM–7:00 PM
• Every third weekend
• Every other holiday

Required Qualifications

• Current ACLS certification
• Current BLS certification
• Current NRP certification
• Current PALS certification
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential via NBRC
• Wisconsin Respiratory Therapist license
• 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Trauma level 2 or 3 experience
• Critical care experience

Clinical Setting / Responsibilities

• Covers inpatient and emergency department areas
• Works with adult patients and may cover pediatric patients in the emergency department
• Performs ABGs and CBGs in intensive care units
• Assists with intubation
• May place a laryngeal airway during code blue situations

Additional Notes

• First-time travelers are accepted
• Travel duos are accepted
• Scheduling cannot be guaranteed
• Call is not required, but occasional off-shift call may be needed
• Orientation includes leadership introduction plus 3 to 4 days on the floors
• Candidates who have previously worked for the facility must have had an end date at least 6 months before submission
• Clinicians must clock in and out at the facility
