Respiratory Therapist Travel Assignment

Overview

Specialty: Respiratory Therapy
Role: Registered Respiratory Therapist
Location: Fredericksburg, Virginia
Employment type: Travel
Contract length: 13 weeks
Hours per week: 36
Shift pattern: 3 twelve-hour shifts per week, including every other weekend

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Virginia
Registered Respiratory Therapist (2 years of experience)
Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
ACLS
PALS
NBRC
Experience working with Neonate patients
Certified Respiratory Therapy - NICU experience

Unit Details

Adult and NICU patient experience required
Equipment used includes Hamilton C1, V60, and Hamilton MR1
Common respiratory support includes CPAP, high-flow nasal cannula, bubble CPAP, and Hamilton C1 ventilation

Additional Notes

PALS is listed in the source as an additional certification requirement
Meditech is used for documentation
All black scrubs are required
