Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist
Job Overview
- Location: Reston, Virginia
- Employment type: Travel
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Hours per week: 36
- Schedule: Day shift
- Call: Required, including off-hours and weekend rotation; must live within 30 minutes of call radius
Required Qualifications
- Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Virginia
- Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
- 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
- ARRT Certification
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- Critical care experience
Clinical Details
- Interventional radiology / special procedures role
- Procedures include TIPS, EVAR, AAA repair, PICC, vertebroplasty, and vascular peripheral cases
- Moving toward neuro intervention work
Work Environment
- 2 labs
- Typical day shift staffing includes 2 RNs and 2 RTs
- Patient ratio: 1:2
- Equipment includes GE and Philips fluoroscopy
Additional Notes
- Scrubs are provided from stock; size information will be needed
- Candidate should be amicable and flexible with scheduling
