Overview

Travel assignment in Richmond, Virginia
Contract length: 13 weeks
36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

Valid CVOR Technologist license in Virginia
CVOR Technologist with 2 years of experience
CVOR Technologist experience within the last year
BLS
CST
Proficiency in scrubbing cardiac cases requiring bypass, thoracic surgery cases (daVinci assisted), open thoracotomy, VATS, procedures initiating ECMO, and pericardial window
Certified Surgical Technologist experience

Role Highlights

Scrubbing cardiac cases requiring bypass
Supporting mediastinal and thoracic surgery cases, including daVinci-assisted procedures, open thoracotomy, VATS, ECMO initiation, and pericardial window procedures
Ability to take call
Unit hours are 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
Weekend call applies Friday through Sunday when assigned

Work Setting

CVOR unit
Procedures include CABG, valve replacement, aortic dissection repair, TAVR, thoracic surgery, daVinci-assisted lobectomy, wedge resections, mediastinal lymph node biopsy, and ECMO
