RN - Med Surg

Job Overview

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Alabama
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
BLS issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS issued by American Heart Association
Med Surg (2 years of experience)
Med Surg experience within the last year
Oncology experience

Assignment Details

Float as needed within scope, including to other facilities within a 25-mile radius
Patient population includes oncology, palliative, post-op bariatric, and med/surg overflow
Patient ratio: 6:1
Unit has 18 beds

Work Environment

Basic equipment includes computer, IV pump, and vital sign machine
EMR used: Cerner
Scrub color: Navy
Only scrubs and scrub jackets are allowed
