Description

Ultrasound Tech - General

Location

Wilmington, North Carolina

Contract

13 weeks
Travel/contract assignment

Schedule

8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday
8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
40 hours per week
No call, no weekends, no float

Setting

Outpatient maternal-fetal medicine / high-risk obstetrics ultrasound
Adolescent and adult patients

Required Qualifications

Ultrasound Technologist with 2 years of experience
Ultrasound Technologist experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
ARDMS
BLS
Experience working with High Risk patients
Experience working with Maternal-Fetal patients
Experience in an Outpatient setting
Abdominal Aorta and Appendix ultrasound
1st-3rd Trimester obstetric ultrasound
Amniotic fluid index assessment
Fetal Anatomical Survey
Placenta Previa scanning
Neonatal Head ultrasound
Neonatal Heart ultrasound
Experience with Epic

Preferred Skills

Portables
Liver, pancreas, pediatric abdomen/pelvis, and spleen ultrasound
Amniocentesis
Bladder, hernia, ovaries, prostate, renal/bladder, uterus, vaginal, breast cyst aspiration, breast ultrasound, superficial masses, testicles/scrotum, and thyroid imaging

Additional Notes

RTO after booking is not allowed
Scrubs are royal blue and not provided
Orientation is 40 hours and attendance is required in full
Start date may vary based on class and trainer availability
